Hahah that’s exactly what I thought. But basically, since my mother is the more understang one, I decided to tell her first. It was during a car ride and we were engaged in a deep conversation, she brought up the topic of boys and dating, so I decided to tell her then.
As for my father, I was actually planning to hide it from him for a reaaaally long while. But he found out naturally. Like, I didn’t straight up tell him, but he put the pieces together, basically. He saw the homecoming picture of Kris and I displayed atop my drawer, he started coming over my house, etcetc.
Just make sure they’re in the right mood to tell ‘em, lol.
