Waiting

Being the one left on the phone while you wait for the other to wake up. After a long all-nighter on the phone, then staying up until you look outside and realize the sky is already lit up, to morning. You just hear them moving and breathing softly. You want them to wake up so you can talk, but then at the same time you just don’t because the thought of him/her sleeping on the other line sleeping soundly— you don’t want to bother in their relaxed state.
